Azim Saju, CEO of Ark Holdings, was presented with Choice Hotels International’s Premier Legacy Award at the franchise’s 70th Annual Convention.
The event—which brings together franchisees, brand leaders and hospitality executive—took place in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. Honorees demonstrate exemplary commitment to the brand, consistently elevate guest experience standards and make lasting contributions to their communities and the broader hospitality industry, according to the North Bethesda, Md.-based franchisor.
Choice Hotels’ CEO Pat Pacious presented the award to Saju, who was selected among thousands of the company’s franchisees. “[The Award] recognizes an outstanding and long-time Choice owner who has built a true legacy with Choice Hotels,” he said.
“I grew up in the industry and my family got its start with Choice Hotels in 1981. I am truly honored to be recognized, but I share this honor with my family and every member of our ARK crew supporting the more than 40 Choice hotels in our care,” added Saju.
