First Hospitality launches restaurant, bar vertical

First Hospitality forms a strategic partnership with hospitality development agency Ring On Hook and the launch of the company’s first dedicated restaurant and bar vertical.

The collaboration underscores First Hospitality’s commitment to a robust operating platform that develops fully integrated and stand-alone restaurants and bars as integral, revenue-driving components of both the guest experience and the local community. Through this partnership, First Hospitality aims to strengthen its competitive edge, drive stronger restaurant and bar performance, and further position itself as a sought-after management partner for owners seeking differentiated, market-leading hospitality experiences.

“Restaurants and bars are a competitive advantage and shows up in guest satisfaction, loyalty, and owner returns,” President and CEO David Duncan said in a statement. “With Ring On Hook, we’re launching a disciplined, best-in-class platform for concept development and day-to-day operations that elevates the guest experience while driving strong profits and returns for owners, a focus we’ll continue to prioritize.

As First Hospitality’s restaurant concept partner, Ring On Hook will support the company across the full lifecycle of restaurant and bar projects, from early-stage concept development and design coordination to pre-opening execution, training, and post-opening performance optimization.

The new restaurant and bar vertical, will focus on:

  • Delivering distinctive, freestanding restaurant and bar concepts within First Hospitality’s new and existing properties.
  • Enhancing pre-opening and ongoing operational support, including menu engineering, service standards, and training.
  • Supporting complex restaurant and bar openings and acquisitions to maximize returns for First Hospitality owners and institutional partners.
  • Driving long-term brand equity through proprietary concepts owned by First Hospitality.

“First Hospitality has a clear vision for the future of hotel restaurant and bar experiences, and we’re excited to partner with them on bringing that vision to life,” said Mike Kraus, chief operating officer of Ring On Hook. “This partnership is about creating restaurants and bars that stand on their own. For First Hospitality, these restaurants are places guests seek out, locals embrace, and owners value as true assets to the overall business.”
