Peachtree Group provides bridge loan for Hilton Miami Beach hotel

Peachtree Group has originated a $103 million bridge loan to support the recapitalization and completion of the 289-key Hilton Miami Beach Convention Center Hotel, a redevelopment project adjacent to the Miami Beach Convention Center.

The Hilton Miami Beach Convention Center Hotel project redevelops the historic Collins Park Hotel site, originally constructed between 1938 and 1953. The property—expected to open in May of 2026—previously consisted of seven buildings designed by prominent Miami architects L. Murray Dixon and Albert Anis. The site is designated by the city’s Historic Preservation Board.

“Projects like this require thoughtful structuring given the complexity of historic redevelopment and construction completion,” Jared Schlosser, head of originations and CPACE at Peachtree, said in a statement. “That complexity is exactly why sponsors seek lending partners with the experience and balance sheet to structure capital solutions and help move projects forward.”

The financing marks the latest transaction from the Atlanta, Ga.-based company’s commercial real estate lending platform. So far in 2026, the firm has completed 17 transactions totaling $504 million in originations, including nine hotel financings representing $253 million.

“Last year was a record year for our credit and lending team and we expect even greater activity ahead as market conditions continue to evolve,” added Greg Friedman, managing principal and CEO of Peachtree.
