WorldHotels is expanding its global portfolio with more than 40 hotels currently in development.
Part of BWH Hotels, the independent luxury and lifestyle brand added approximately 100 hotels in 2025. The pipeline includes branded residences, luxury resorts, boutique hotels and wellness-focused properties across Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America.
According to the Phoenix-based company, the expansion includes entries into new markets such as South Korea and Portugal, as well as continued growth in branded residences, outdoor hospitality and experiential travel. The company is also expanding its WorldHotels Crafted collection through a partnership with De Historiske, a Norwegian collection of more than 100 historic hotels, restaurants and ships.
“Every addition to the WorldHotels portfolio represents more than growth; it represents a shared commitment to excellence,” Ron Pohl, president of WorldHotels, said in a statement. “Our expansion through partnerships such as De Historiske in Norway and into new destinations like Costa Rica reflects a strategic approach to growth that delivers long-term value for both our hoteliers and our guests.”
Among the projects in development is Essensia Sky and Parkway Saigon, WorldHotels Residences in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the brand's first branded residential project, featuring 74 villas and 424 apartment units scheduled to open in September. The company is also adding WorldHotels Long Beach Resort Phu Quoc in Vietnam and WorldHotels Guadalajara Zona Andares in Mexico.
WorldHotels is entering South Korea with Ecoland Hotel, WorldHotels Elite, on Jeju Island and expanding into India with Resort Country Club, WorldHotels Distinctive, near Manesar. In Costa Rica, Clarita's Beach Bar & Resort in Jaco will join the portfolio, while Hotel Máxima Santarém, a 141-room hotel scheduled to open in 2027, will mark the brand's debut in Portugal.
Properties joining the Crafted collection through the alliance with De Historiske include Kviknes Hotel in Balestrand and Fleischer's Hotel in Vossevangen, Norway. Additional Crafted hotels include Collini Rooms in Milan and The Vault Hotel in Helsingborg, Sweden.
WorldHotels continues to grow its leisure portfolio with additions focused on wellness and outdoor hospitality. Recent additions include Asheville River Cabins in Arden, N.C., Hotel Terme San Michele & SPA on Ischia, Italy and Acqua di Mare Resort in Roatán, Honduras.
