Opal Collection will expand its Florida portfolio this spring with the debut of the 109-room Olde Naples Hotel, a new-build luxury property inspired by the original Naples Hotel.
Originally established in 1889, the converted boutique hotel is located on the corner of Third Street South in Naples. The opening continues Opal Collection’s growth in coastal leisure markets.
“Olde Naples Hotel reflects where Naples began and where it is headed,” Laura Radler, general manager of Olde Naples Hotel, said in a statement. “We are honoring the city’s earliest hospitality story while introducing a design-forward boutique experience that resonates with today’s luxury traveler.”
The property incorporates architectural elements referencing Old Florida craftsmanship, including grand columns, transom windows, Dade County Pine and Pecky Cypress details and a mirrored ceiling dome in the lobby. Public spaces include a central garden courtyard designed as a social gathering area and a rooftop pool. Amenities will also include a full-service spa and fitness center.
Food and beverage will be anchored by Annie’s Bistro, a bistro, bar, and bakery concept intended to serve both guests and locals. The dining room features impressionistic murals by local artist Janine Wesselmann. Guestrooms and suites draw inspiration from historic cottage-style homes and include standard accommodations and multi-bedroom suites.
The hotel will be positioned to accommodate small group blocks, with additional meeting space available at nearby sister property Edgewater Beach Hotel.
