Naples Hotel Group has reported progress across multiple development and renovation projects in Florida, including new extended-stay builds and upgrades to existing assets.

The Naples, Fla.-based developer and operator expanded its pipeline with recent groundbreakings taking place on a Residence Inn by Marriott Tampa Brandon and a TownePlace Suites by Marriott Mount Dora.

Meanwhile, renovations were completed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Trinity, Fairfield Inn & Suites St. Augustine I-95 and DoubleTree by Hilton Gainesville, which also introduced a new food and beverage outlet, The Comeback Sports Bar & Grille.

In addition, a comprehensive exterior renovation was completed at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Miami Airport to address window leaks and air-pressure issues while updating the façade. Project teams coordinated street closures and specialized access solutions to complete the work on a zero-lot-line site.

Finally, construction is nearing completion at the Cambria Jacksonville, which is located near I-295 at Baymeadows Road East and Gate Parkway. The 136-room property is targeting a May opening and will include a restaurant and bar, approximately 3,600 square-feet of meeting space, an executive-level lounge and an outdoor pool.

According to the company, managing development and renovation projects internally supports cost control, schedule efficiency and long-term asset value creation across its portfolio.
