Luckey’s Management has broken ground on a dual-branded Fairfield Inn and TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Miramar, Fla., marking the developer’s third project within the Miramar Park of Commerce.
The seven-story hotel, located at 11020 Marks Way, will span nearly 100,000 square feet and include 160 guestrooms. The property will have 84 Fairfield guestrooms and 76 TownePlace Suites guestrooms designed for extended-stay guests.
Shared amenities will include an outdoor pool, fitness center, lounge, flexible lobby spaces, a fire pit and grilling area, as well as 162 surface parking spaces.
The hotel site sits adjacent to Florida’s Turnpike and is minutes from Hard Rock Stadium, positioning it to serve both event-driven demand and business travelers visiting the area’s commerce hub.
“Breaking ground on this hotel is a milestone for our team and for Miramar,” Aevin Sanjay, chief investment officer and principal at Luckey’s Management, said in a statement. “This is our third project in Miramar Park of Commerce, and we’re grateful to the City of Miramar for its continued partnership and support in helping bring each of these projects to life.”
Luckey’s Management acquired the 3.36-acre site in January 2024 and secured site plan approval from the Miramar City Commission later that year. Construction is underway, with the hotel expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2027.
Jay Patel and Sanjay are leading the project on behalf of the Fort Lauderdale-based developer.
