Industry vet forms new advisory firm

Bill Navas, a 30-year hotel industry veteran, has launched Rich-Port Hospitality Development, an advisory firm primarily focused on executing capital projects.

Rich-Port also assists institutional investors with preacquisition due diligence and provides hotel companies with outsourced brand representation and technical services.

“I am incredibly excited to establish a new company dedicated to serving the hotel development market,” said Navas. “I have dedicated my career to the execution of hospitality projects, and I am looking forward to leveraging my experience and resources to assist clients in their capital deployment.”

In addition to having experience as an in-house owner’s representative while holding senior leadership positions at Starwood, Trump and W Hotels, Navas has a background in third-party project and development management through his tenure at New York-based boutique hotel development firm Hospitality 3.
