Hilton has added the Almare Beach Resort Las Terrenas, Curio Collection by Hilton, a resort development planned for Las Terrenas on the Dominican Republic’s Samaná Peninsula.
Scheduled to open in 2028, the 252-room property is owned by DACC Investment Blu SRL. The project will include 90 hotel guestrooms and 162 residential units, with owners able to place residences into the hotel’s rental inventory. Las Terrenas is located on the Samaná Peninsula and is known for its beaches, ecotourism attractions and access to Los Haitises National Park.
“Almare Beach Resort Las Terrenas will showcase the best of the Dominican Republic, its stunning landscapes and vibrant culture, while delivering an elevated lifestyle experience as part of Hilton’s Curio Collection,” Vincenzo Odoguardi, president of DACC Investment Blu SRL, said in a statement.
Amenities planned for the resort include a beach club, four outdoor pools, two padel courts, spa and fitness facilities, landscaped outdoor areas and multiple food-and-beverage outlets, including a beach club restaurant, all-day dining venue and pool bar.
“The signing of Almare Beach Resort Las Terrenas, Curio by Hilton is an important step towards fulfilling our vision to grow our presence in the Caribbean and Latin America,” added Pablo Maturana, VP, development and architecture, construction and design for the Caribbean and Latin America at Hilton.
Curio Collection by Hilton currently has 25 operating properties in the Caribbean and Latin America, including the recently opened Zemi Miches Punta Cana All-Inclusive Resort in the Dominican Republic.
