Hilton plans Bahamas debut for Curio Collection

Hilton has signed a franchise agreement with B.P.G. for the new-build Paradise Breeze Nassau. Expected to open in 2028, Paradise Breeze will join Curio Collection by Hilton. The signing marks the debut of the Curio Collection brand in The Bahamas and Hilton’s return to the island, a significant milestone in the company’s ambitious growth plans in the region.

“Hilton remains committed to strategic growth across the Caribbean, where we have a robust pipeline of new hotels and resorts and plans to double our footprint in the coming years,” Pablo Maturana, vice president, development and architecture, construction and design, Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton, said in a statement. “The project exemplifies how we are thoughtfully expanding our presence by partnering with strong owners to deliver distinctive hotels in high-demand destinations that matter to today’s travelers.”

“We envisioned Paradise Breeze as more than a destination, as a way of experiencing Nassau that feels both elevated and deeply connected to its surroundings,” said Daniel Mosca, founder and CEO, B.P.G. “Partnering with Hilton allows us to bring this vision to life through a hospitality experience that is thoughtful, design-driven, and rooted in a genuine sense of place.”

The newly constructed Paradise Breeze Nassau, Curio Collection by Hilton will be an 11-story building with 125 accommodations. The resort is three miles from the airport and five miles from shops, restaurants and attractions.

Combining hotel and residences, Paradise Breeze Nassau will provide the perfect blend of comfort and Hilton’s signature hospitality, ensuring exceptional stays for all guests. The resort will boast an array of high-end amenities, including close to 15,000 square feet of state-of-the-art spa and fitness facilities, padel and squash courts and a 5,000 square foot infinity edge pool overlooking the sea. Additionally, the property will feature more than 4,000 square feet of private and flexible event space to cater to meetings and events.

“Marking Curio Collection’s debut in The Bahamas, Paradise Breeze Nassau represents a meaningful milestone for the brand,” said Brooke Thomas, global brand leader, Curio Collection by Hilton. “From sweeping ocean views to distinctive design and elevated amenities–including an infinity pool, on-site spa and world-class dining–the hotel embodies the one-of-a-kind experiences this global collection is known for. We look forward to welcoming guests to this exceptional new destination.”

The resort will have three dining venues, including an all-day dining restaurant overlooking the pool and Caribbean Sea, a rooftop specialty restaurant for elevated dining and a pool bar serving fresh juices, light and healthy bites and cocktails throughout the day. The property also will have an artisanal bakery, curated market and coffee bar.

Hilton’s Curio Collection currently has a global portfolio of nearly 200 hotels and resorts. Hilton currently has more than 300 hotels across the Caribbean and Latin America, and a development pipeline of more than 150 hotels in various stages of design and construction.
