Hilton ended 2025 with record growth across the Caribbean and Latin America region, topping 300 operating hotels in 35 countries and territories and advancing a pipeline of more than 150 properties representing more than 21,000 rooms. Hilton opened more than 30 hotels and signed a record number of deals in 2025, which the company credited to “strong demand” for luxury and lifestyle resorts and residences as well as continued momentum in focused service brand.
Over the year, Hilton added more than 70 new hotels and 7,800 rooms to its pipeline, a 55 percent increase in the number of hotels and a more than 25 percent increase in added rooms versus 2024. (The percentage of growth refers to 2025 rooms including Small Luxury Hotels of the World compared to 2024 rooms excluding Small Luxury Hotels of the World.)
“2025 was a defining year for Hilton in the Caribbean and Latin America, as we reached new milestones and reinforced our leadership in the luxury and lifestyle segment,” Pablo Maturana, vice president, development, architecture, design and construction, Caribbean and Latin America, Hilton, said in a statement. “Surpassing 300 hotels and growing our pipeline to more than 150 projects underscores the confidence owners and developers place in our brands. We look forward to building on this momentum and delivering even more exceptional stays for travelers in the years ahead.”
Luxury and Lifestyle
More than half of the year’s openings were across Hilton’s luxury and lifestyle brands, driving the segment’s portfolio beyond 100 hotels. Landmark openings included the Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique; Zemi Miches Punta Cana All‑Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton in the Dominican Republic; and York Medellín, Curio Collection by Hilton, which debuted in Colombia as the city’s first Curio lifestyle hotel in December.
The company also advanced its branded residences strategy with new signings. In addition to the debut of Waldorf Astoria Residences Costa Rica in 2025, Hilton signed Waldorf Astoria Residences Guadalajara, the first standalone Waldorf Astoria branded residences in the Caribbean and Latin America, expected to debut in the next few years. Hilton also signed a new ultra‑luxury resort and residences in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, which will have 170 guestrooms along with one‑ to four‑bedroom homes and is slated to join the LXR Hotels & Resorts collection in 2029. The pipeline also includes the Waldorf Astoria Dellis Cay and AMARIS Grace Bay, LXR Hotels & Resorts, set to open in Turks & Caicos, as well as the Waldorf Astoria San Miguel de Allende and Conrad Los Cabos in Mexico.
To further accelerate its luxury momentum in the region, Hilton also signed two new Conrad hotels that will anchor its presence in key urban markets The Conrad Lima, planned for 2028, will be a 21-story oceanfront urban retreat in Lima’s vibrant Miraflores district. The Conrad Monterrey is slated to debut in the next few years in northern Mexico.
Across lifestyle brands, Hilton continues to expand its footprint in nearly 20 countries and territories. Notable signings in 2025 include WIA Ushuaia, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Argentina; Casa di Sirena Sao Paulo Pinheiros, Curio Collection by Hilton and Casaway Mata Atlantica Morretes, Curio Collection by Hilton in Brazil; Almare Beach Resort Las Terrenas, Curio by Hilton in the Dominican Republic; Chelsea Bogota Parque 93, Tapestry Collection by Hilton and Cabo Hotel Guatape El Peñol, Curio Collection by Hilton in Colombia; Valle de Guadalupe, Curio Collection by Hilton in Mexico; and Sozo Paramaribo, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Suriname.
By the end of 2026, Hilton plans to open the Casa Costa Ilhabela, Curio Collection by Hilton in Brazil and Montara Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Costa Rica as well as two new Motto by Hilton hotels: Motto by Hilton Recife Antigo in Brazil, a brand-first in Brazil,and Motto by Hilton Guadalajara Centro Historico in Mexico.
Momentum
Hilton’s other brands also celebrated market firsts. DoubleTree by Hilton Caracol Canela marked the brand’s debut in the charming city of the Rio Grande do Sul state; Spark by Hilton Ponce in Puerto Rico introduced the Spark brand to the Caribbean and Latin America; Tru by Hilton Chillán Ferrat introduced the brand in Chile; and Hampton by Hilton St. Thomas opened as Hilton’s first Hampton by Hilton in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The company also plans to introduce Tempo by Hilton to the region in Costa Rica and Mexico.
Heading into 2026, Hilton is accelerating growth across its focused-service brands in CALA with more than 90 hotels in the pipeline including its newest brand in the region, Spark by Hilton. Hilton launched CALA‑specific prototypes for Tru by Hilton and Hampton by Hilton and began construction on its first Home2 Suites by Hilton in the region, located in Monterrey Santa Catarina.
Recent openings include Hampton by Hilton Caraguatatuba Serramar in Brazil and Hilton Garden Inn Mexico City Polanco. Next year’s planned debuts span Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico, highlighting expanding presence in high growth markets such as northeast Brazil with the opening Hilton Garden Inn Natal, Hilton Garden Inn Buenos Aires Parque Leloir in Argentina and Hilton Garden Inn Pereira in Colombia. Hampton by Hilton and Tru by Hilton continue to scale as well, with new Tru properties opening in Mexico and Honduras, and two forthcoming Hampton hotels in Guadalajara and Monterrey.
In 2025, Hilton added nearly 800 hotels and 100,000 new rooms to its portfolio. Approximately one in every five hotel rooms under construction globally is slated to join the Hilton system.
