Grupo Satli, Marriott International and Aimbridge Hospitality have revealed plans for a 980-room all-inclusive resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico, scheduled to open in 2027.
The resort will be owned and developed by Grupo Satli and operated by Dallas-based Aimbridge Hospitality’s All-Inclusive Division. The property is expected to initially operate independently before joining the Marriott Hotels & Resorts all-inclusive portfolio. The project expands Marriott’s all-inclusive presence in Mexico, which includes Marriott Cancun, An All-Inclusive Resort.
“We are honored to partner with Marriott International and Grupo Satli on this project,” Alex Fiz, president of all-inclusive and Latin America at Aimbridge Hospitality, said in a statement. “Our proven track record in managing all-inclusive properties, combined with our deep understanding of the Mexican market and Marriott's operational standards, positions us to deliver an exceptional guest experience and drive meaningful value for our partners.”
“This landmark collaboration brings together Grupo Satli’s investment strength, Marriott International’s global recognition and Aimbridge Hospitality’s proven all-inclusive operational excellence to develop a benchmark project in one of the world’s most important destinations,” said Jamal Satli Iglesias, chairman of Marbella, Spain-based Grupo Satli.
The resort will be developed on a 445-acre beachfront site with 1,312 feet of shoreline. Planned amenities include 13 food-and-beverage outlets, 12 pools, a spa, more than 43,000 square feet of meeting and event space, a lazy river, tennis courts and other recreational facilities.
