Kaizen Development Partners and Douglas Elliman Real Estate have selected Marriott International’s Edition Hotels brand as the official hotel and residential flag for Chalk Hill, an upcoming mixed-use development in Uptown Dallas. This development introduces The Dallas Edition Hotel and The Residences at The Dallas Edition, marking the brand’s first location in Texas.
Chalk Hill will include a 214-key five-star hotel and 60 residences under Edition Hotels.
“Chalk Hill reflects the remarkable evolution we’re seeing in Dallas residential development,” Catherine Lee, president of Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, Texas, said in a statement. “As the city continues to attract global investment and a new generation of luxury buyers, hospitality-driven living has become an essential part of that growth.”

Architecture for the Residences at The Dallas Edition will be led by BOKA Powell, while landscape architecture will be overseen by SWA in collaboration with SCDA to integrate biophilic design principles.

Beyond the residences, the 214-key Dallas Edition Hotel will have a signature restaurant and bar, ballroom and meeting spaces, a pool deck and a full-service spa anchored by hydrotherapy and recovery-focused amenities. A holistic well-being Center will offer fitness, movement and longevity experiences.
