Drury Hotels' newest hotel is now under construction in North Charleston, S.C. The new hotel, with 252 guestrooms, is the second Drury Hotel in South Carolina and the seventh across the Carolinas.
The new Drury Plaza Hotel is situated off I-26, less than 10 miles from downtown Charleston and Daniel Island and three miles from the Charleston International Airport.
“Charleston is a thriving city, rich with history, culture and southern hospitality,” Chuck Drury, president and CEO of Drury Hotels, said in a statement. “South Carolina leisure and business travelers will experience warm welcomes, friendly service and amenities within minutes of all the incredible food, museums, entertainment, and historic attractions Charleston offers.”
The property will have 3,600 square feet of meeting space to accommodate up to 400 attendees. The property features Drury Hotels’ newly launched Meetings with More program, including free Wi-Fi in meeting rooms for all attendees, no food and beverage minimums, and a flexible cancellation policy that allows groups to use a portion of their cancellation fee toward a future event at any Drury Hotel.
The Drury Plaza Hotel North Charleston’s amenities includes:

Drury Hotels will plan for team member recruitment and key hires in the Charleston market as construction efforts continue. Once open, the hotel will employ approximately 70 full-time and part-time team members.
