Camp Margaritaville to open Orange Lake site in Central Florida

Camp Margaritaville is poised to expand its presence in Florida with a new location in Citra, slated to open in spring 2026. The upcoming Camp Margaritaville Orange Lake is being developed in partnership with IHM Outdoors, the outdoor and resort-focused division of West Palm Beach, Fla.-based Island Hotel Management. The project is part of IHM Outdoors’ strategy to grow its portfolio of outdoor lodging destinations, which now includes more than 15 locations under four brands across six states.

“We are thrilled to welcome Camp Margaritaville Orange Lake into our growing family of outdoor destinations,” Drew Allison, executive vice president at IHM, said in a statement. “This collaboration with a brand as beloved as Margaritaville underscores our commitment to providing unique, upscale outdoor lodging experiences across the country.”

Jeffrey Fisher, principal and founder of IHM, added that the partnership had been in discussion for some time. “Over the last few years, our two companies have been searching for a collaborative project,” he said.

The Orange Lake property will have RV sites and vacation rentals with a range of amenities, including a pool complex with swim-up bar and cabanas, food and beverage venues, live entertainment and access to local outdoor recreation. Other planned features include a dog park, general store and recreation areas.
