Caesars New Orleans Hotel & Casino, rebranded from Harrah’s New Orleans, is introducing new dining offerings and hotel accommodations ahead of the city’s hosting Super Bowl LIX next year.
The property got the city’s first Nobu restaurant from Nobu Matsuhisa last month, ahead of the Nobu Hotel opening as a hotel within a hotel. The restaurant serves Nobu’s standards like Yellowtail Jalapeño and Black Cod Miso as well as seasonal dishes inspired by the city. The Nobu Hotel, meanwhile, will have 54 rooms taking up two floors of the property when it opens at the end of October.
The Octavia Bar is new centerpiece of Caesars New Orleans, named after the niece of Julius Caesar, Octavia, and constructed in the shape of an octagon. Then bar celebrates the number eight and combines themes of Ancient Rome with New Orleans. The venue has a $750,000 chandelier complemented by a 27-seat bar and a 136-seat lounge. Drinks on the menu include the “Octavia Sour,” a twist on the classic Vodka Sour, and the “Back O' Town Elixir,” inspired by New Orleans’ Café Du Monde.
Caesars New Orleans, which originally opened as Harrah's New Orleans Casino in October 1999, is steps away from The French Quarter. As the area's only land-based casino, it has more than 151,400 square feet of gaming and dining space.The property also has a celebrity chef food hall celebrating New Orleans chefs like Emeril Lagasse and Nina Compton.
