B&B Hotels signs second U.S. property

B&B Hotels has completed its second U.S. deal for a hotel in Jacksonville, Fla. The deal comes just four months after opening the company's first U.S. in Orlando and marks another milestone in the company's lease model in the U.S. The first U.S. property has led to an interest in Europe's midscale hotel brand with its real estate investor Batipart.

The B&B Hotel Jacksonville is located at exit 357 of Interstate 10 at the western gateway to the city. It will open with 156 rooms in the first quarter of 2025 following a comprehensive renovation.

“Today and as previously promised, we are glad and honored to announce the signing of our second hotel in the U.S. and specifically in Jacksonville," B&B Hotels U.S. CEO Valerio Duchini said in a statement. "The hotel will undergo a complete renovation, and it will be opened in the first months of 2025. This is another big step in the development of B&B Hotels in Florida and the U.S. A big thank you to our real estate partner, Batipart, for their support since the beginning of this adventure in the U.S.”

With a portfolio of nearly 800 hotels over 17 countries, B&B Hotels' growth in Europe can be attributed to its innovative business model, which emphasizes flexibility and a core essentials approach, according to the company.
