The U.S. hotel industry reported positive year-over-year comparisons, according to CoStar’s latest data.
For the week of May 10-16 (percentage change from comparable week in 2025):
- Occupancy: 68.2 percent (+1.5 percent)
- Average daily rate: $173.01 (+3.9 percent)
- Revenue per available room: $117.93 (+5.4 percent)
Top Markets
Among CoStar’s top 25 markets, Orlando recorded the highest increases in occupancy (+13.3 percent to 71 percent) and RevPAR (+23.7 percent to $149.38).
San Francisco posted the largest ADR gain (+10.3 percent to $248.93).
San Diego registered the steepest declines in ADR (-4.6 percent to $209.08) and RevPAR (-10.3 percent to $151.15), while Detroit saw the largest occupancy drop (-6.1 percent to 66.3 percent).
