Top Markets
Among CoStar's top 25 markets, New York City saw the largest increases in ADR (+28.1 percent to $375.12) and RevPAR (+35 percent to $348.62). The market reported a 142.2 percent lift in ADR and a 179.6 percent gain in RevPAR on Sunday, July 19, the night of the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina.
Philadelphia reported the largest occupancy gain (+9.0 percent to 77.1 percent).
Las Vegas experienced the steepest declines across each of the three key performance metrics: occupancy (-15.9 percent to 65.7 percent), ADR (-5.4 percent to $176.38) and RevPAR (-20.4 percent to $115.88). The drop in performance was mainly due to a comparison against Beyoncé and Backstreet Boys concerts held last year.
