Gulph Creek Hotels has completed the conversion of The Prussia Hotel in King of Prussia, Pa., to the City Express by Marriott brand. The property is close to the King of Prussia Mall, Valley Forge National Historical Park and major corporate centers along the Route 202 and I-76 corridors as well as Philadelphia and surrounding suburban markets. The property is part of the mixed-use Gulph Creek Promenade.
“This conversion represents an important strategic investment for Gulph Creek Hotels and reinforces our commitment to aligning our portfolio with brands that resonate with today’s travelers,” Derek Sylvester, owner of Gulph Creek Hotels, said in a statement. “City Express by Marriott brings a fresh, efficient hospitality model to King of Prussia, and we are excited to introduce guests to a trusted Marriott experience in one of Pennsylvania’s strongest lodging markets.”
“Our team worked diligently to ensure a seamless transition while enhancing the overall guest experience,” said Ronald Balle, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “We look forward to welcoming both loyal returning guests and new Marriott Bonvoy members to the hotel.”
