Driftwood Hospitality Management completed a multimillion-dollar conversion of the Delta Hotels Nashville Airport, a 200-key hotel officially repositioned under the Delta Hotels by Marriott brand. Owned by Imaging Hospitality Management, the full-service property now is the only Delta Hotel-branded property in Tennessee.
Formerly known as Hotel Preston, the boutique property went under extensive renovation, reflecting the Delta Hotels brand promise of purposeful design and seamless service. Every aspect of the property has been thoughtfully updated to align with Marriott’s premium full-service standards.
“This repositioning represents a significant milestone for the property and DHM, reinforcing our commitment to enhancing a prime hospitality asset with an elevated brand experience and operational excellence that meets Marriott’s highest standards,” Driftwood Hospitality Management COO Bryan Postema said in a statement. “The addition of a Delta Hotel in proximity to Nashville International Airport speaks to the demand from business and group travelers seeking upscale accommodations with access to transit hubs and the greater Nashville metro area. As we continue to expand our portfolio with leading global brands, this conversion demonstrates our expertise in executing complex renovations while maintaining operational continuity.”
“The debut of Tennessee’s first Delta Hotels by Marriott in Nashville represents a defining moment for our city’s hospitality landscape,” added Kal Patel, CEO of Imagine Hospitality Management. “As one of the nation’s fastest-growing destinations, Nashville deserves a full-service hotel at its airport that reflects the professionalism, comfort, and efficiency travelers expect. Establishing the Delta flag at Nashville International Airport strengthens our position as a premier gateway for business and leisure, ensuring visitors experience the very best of Music City from the moment they land.”
The renovation includes:
- Fully redesigned guestrooms featuring premium bedding, flexible workspaces, modern finishes and enhanced in-room technology.
- Reimagined lobby and public areas with an open, contemporary aesthetic that supports both productivity and relaxation.
- Updated food and beverage offerings at Blackwood Nashville, the hotel’s onsite restaurant delivering locally inspired BBQ and Southern classics in a refined yet welcoming setting.
- Enhanced meeting and event spaces equipped with modern audiovisual capabilities to accommodate business gatherings and social events. The hotel offers eight rooms and 8,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
