Resolute Road Hospitality is overseeing the conversion of the former Comfort Suites Redmond, Ore., to the 92-room City Express by Marriott Redmond Airport.

The hotel is part of Marriott International’s City Express by Marriott brand and is located near Redmond Municipal Airport in Central Oregon. The all-suite property has an indoor pool and a fitness center.

Boise, Idaho-based Resolute Road Hospitality worked with the ownership group, Marriott International and other project partners on pre-opening planning, brand implementation, associate training and operational readiness as part of the conversion. The hotel is near regional employers including Medline and BASX, as well as Smith Rock State Park, Mt. Bachelor and Bend.

“Brand conversions continue to be an effective strategy for owners seeking to unlock additional value from existing assets,” Gary Horton, president and CEO of Resolute Road Hospitality, said in a statement. “Our focus throughout this project was delivering a seamless transition that positions the hotel for long-term operational success while creating lasting value for ownership.”
