APEX Partners to convert Kissimmee hotel to City Express

After acquiring The Adventure Hotel by The Parks in Kissimmee, Fla., APEX Partners has unveiled plans for a full-scale renovation and brand conversion of the property to City Express by Marriott.

New York-based APEX—a hospitality focused real estate investment firm—has selected Lafayette, Colo.-based Converge Hospitality to manage the hotel and oversee operations throughout the renovation and rebranding. The hotel was formerly a Comfort Inn Kissimmee by The Parks.

The redevelopment will include a comprehensive transformation of the property, featuring fully renovated guestrooms, refreshed public areas, upgraded building systems and enhanced exterior improvements designed to meet Marriott brand standards. The project is intended to elevate the guest experience, modernize the hotel’s overall design and functionality and improve long-term operational performance, according to the company.

Upon completion, the hotel will reopen as City Express by Marriott, positioning the asset to benefit from Marriott’s global distribution network and loyalty platform while strengthening its appeal to both leisure and business travelers visiting the Kissimmee and greater Orlando market.
